My stinger has a 7 year warranty, so if you’re talking about the tt3.3 v6 and it’s gearbox (plus chasis structure) g80, then it should have it too, or at least 5 year... who knows...

The v6 g80 goes from 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds, I don’t want to think how the v8 with more power does it.

I don’t know the figures for the alpina though, but the engine makes 540hp and such a large, heavy sedan would be challenged to do it under 4.5 seconds, even with such firepower under the bonnet.

Those Alpina wheels are excellent. Pretty simple design, but fucking excellent (perhaps even butt-fucking excellent, but different strokes fer different folks).

Also, if I have money for a Genesis G80, I probably have money to maintain the Alpina anyway.

power is, as best I can remember from Physics 101: torque times rotational velocity (RPM so to say). Sure, the force you apply matters, but how much force you can apply in a second is also important!

Torque is how much force you have, power is how often (I am using the word “often” in a very general sense) you can apply that force. Power then is still very relevant, I’d say torque is the most relevant for vehicles that need to haul a lot of cargo. This is why we see motorcycles with high 150-200hp engines but abysmal torque figures; there’s so little mass to deal with that the engine can be focused on applying force often rather than applying a lot of it!

It does make a lot of torque. But let me put it this way,

In the infinitesimal second in which I stand atop a 1m crowbar with the gravitational force perpendicular to it, I make more torque than the car.

900NM>731NM.

But I make very little power due to the time I can be perpendicular to the gravitational force. When the crowbar is moved due to me standing atop it I will fall of it and hurt myself against the floor for making physics examples, it will also have 0NM of torque because the gravitational force will be parallel to the distance from the axis of rotation.
